- What does Geondex do?
- You give it your domain and a question a buyer would ask. It asks Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok that question right now and tells you whether your site was cited, at what position, and who was cited instead. It also stores the result, so the next identical check tells you what changed.
- Can't my agent just do this itself?
- Partly. An agent can search the web and read your robots.txt. It cannot ask five different AI engines the same question through their own search and compare the citations, and it has no memory of last week's answer. Geondex does both behind one key.
- Which engines?
- Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok, each with web search turned on. Each engine runs the model its own consumer app uses by default, or a fast model from the same provider where that one is too slow; for some engines you can pick a stronger model. Google organic rank and AI Overview presence are separate calls.
- How long does a check take?
- Up to 30 seconds per engine, 45 if you pick a premium model. An engine that does not answer in time is reported as timed out and is not charged.
- Is there monitoring?
- No. Geondex never runs anything on a schedule. If you want a weekly check, have your agent or a cron job call the API. Every result is stored, so the history is there when you come back.
- What does it cost?
- Free gives 500 credits a month, about 8 checks across all five engines' default models. Starter is $49 a month for 5,000 credits, Standard $99 for 15,000. Each engine call costs its model's credits — the five defaults together are 57; a stronger model costs more. If you need more, a pay-as-you-go pack of 1,500 credits costs $25 or 5,000 costs $75 and never expires. Prices exclude tax or VAT where it applies. The full price list is at geondex.com/pricing.
- When do my credits reset?
- On Free, monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). On a paid plan, they reset on your billing date each month. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Pack credits never expire and are only used after your monthly credits run out.
- What happens when I run out of credits?
- Paid calls stop with an HTTP 402 credits_exhausted error that links to upgrading or buying a pack. Nothing is charged automatically. Free calls (history, the crawler check and your balance) keep working.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, from the Billing page of your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free.
- Is there a dashboard?
- Only a small console: API keys, a log of your calls, your plan and your credits, plus the playground. The product is the API and the MCP server.
- What happens to my data if I leave?
- Delete your account and every stored check goes with it. Email hello@geondex.com if you want it done for you.
