Who we are

Geondex is operated by Yuri Bondarenko, an individual ("we", "us"). He is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@geondex.com.

Summary

• We collect your email + Google profile to sign you in.
• We store the domains and prompts you check and the citation results AI engines return.
• No tracking cookies. The only cookies are the ones that sign you in. Our analytics scripts are cookieless.
• We do not sell your data, ever.
• You can delete your account at any time, and request a copy of your data by email.

What we collect

• Account data — email, name, profile image from Google Sign-In.
• Signup answers — if you answer the optional questions after your first sign-in, we keep your answers. You can skip them.
• API keys — stored only as a hash. We cannot read your keys.
• Check data — the domain, prompt or keyword you send, each engine's cited pages and a short excerpt of its answer, timestamps, and your credit ledger.
• Server logs — request logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, user agent, time). Kept up to 30 days for debugging.
• Visit statistics — Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views on our site: the page, the referring site, your country and browser type. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you across other sites.
• How the site is used — Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used: clicks, scrolls, mouse movement and replays of a visit, plus your browser, device and approximate location. Form fields are hidden from it, and everything inside the signed-in account area (keys, emails, results) is masked before it leaves your browser. It sets no cookies, so it cannot link two visits together.
• Billing data — handled by Polar (our payment provider and merchant of record). Geondex sees your plan, its renewal state and the credit packs you bought, not card numbers.

Cookies

We only set the cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in. They are strictly necessary, so they need no consent. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our two analytics scripts (Cloudflare Web Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) are cookieless.

Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us. The site footer shows a badge image loaded from aigregator.com; like any image from another site, loading it shares your IP address with that site.

How we use it

To run the service: sign you in, run the checks you ask for, store the results so you can compare later, and credit your account when you buy a pack. We send no marketing email and no product email such as reports or alerts; the only messages we send are the legal notices described in our Terms and DPA.

Who receives your data (sub-processors)

Data goes to these providers only when it is needed to run what you asked for:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database, storage, request logs and visit statistics. Requests to the AI engines may also pass through Cloudflare's network.
• Google — sign-in (your Google account).
• Polar — payments, receipts, sales tax and VAT.
• Microsoft — Clarity, the usage recordings described above.
• OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google (Gemini) and xAI (Grok) — the AI engines. When you run a visibility check, each engine the check uses receives the prompt text you send. When you ask for prompt suggestions, OpenAI also receives text from the homepage of the domain you name.
• DataForSEO — Google search data. Receives the keywords you send when you ask for a Google rank or keyword volume.

When you ask us to check a page or a site's crawler rules, we fetch those public pages directly from that site.

Data retention

Check history is retained for the life of your account. Delete your account to wipe all data within 30 days.
