Terms of Service

Who we are

Geondex is operated by Yuri Bondarenko, an individual ("we", "us"). There is no company behind it. When you use Geondex, your agreement is with Yuri Bondarenko. Contact: hello@geondex.com.

The service

Geondex checks, on request, whether third-party AI engines cite your domain. We provide the tooling; we do not control what AI engines decide to cite.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and your API keys safe.
• One account per natural person or organization.
• You must be 16+ to use Geondex.

Acceptable use

• Don't track domains you don't own or operate, except for legitimate competitive research.
• Don't use Geondex to scrape AI engines beyond what their terms allow.
• Don't attempt to overwhelm our infrastructure.

Plans and credits

Every plan gives you a number of credits each month. Calls that cost money use them.

• Free plan: monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month (UTC).
• Paid plans: monthly credits reset on your billing date each month.
• Unused monthly credits don't roll over.
• Pack credits never expire. They are used only after your monthly credits run out. Changing or cancelling a plan does not affect them.

When you run out of credits

When you have no credits left, calls that cost credits return an error with HTTP status 402. They keep doing so until you buy a pack, upgrade, or your monthly credits reset. Nothing is charged automatically.

Payments and taxes

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew each month until you cancel. Credit packs are one-time purchases. Payments are handled by Polar, which acts as merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues your receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT. Prices shown on Geondex exclude taxes. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.

Cancelling

Cancel any time with Manage billing on the Billing page of your account, or email hello@geondex.com and we will cancel it for you. Your plan and its monthly credits keep working until the end of the period you have paid for. Then your plan drops to Free. Nothing renews after that.

Refunds

• Subscription payments and monthly credits are not refunded or paid out.
• A credit pack is refundable within 14 days if none of its credits have been used. Once any credit from a pack is used, the pack is non-refundable.
• Free monthly credits carry no purchase and no refund.
• If something went wrong on our side, email hello@geondex.com within 14 days and we will make it right.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

AI engines change their behavior frequently. Geondex measures what they returned at run time; we make no guarantee about future runs. No warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Service is provided "as is".

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Geondex in the previous 12 months, or $50 if you're on the free tier.

Disputes

If you have a problem with Geondex, email us first. We will try to resolve any dispute informally by email.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email before material changes take effect.
